Copyright Infringement Notice Procedure

Last Updated: June 2026

Fast 3D respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This page outlines our policy and procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement.

1. Our Commitment

We take copyright infringement seriously and are committed to:

  • Responding promptly to valid copyright infringement claims
  • Taking appropriate action when infringement is identified
  • Protecting the rights of copyright holders
  • Maintaining compliance with applicable copyright laws, including the DMCA

2. DMCA Compliance

Fast 3D complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that a 3D model generated or hosted on our Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice as described below.

3. Understanding Our Service

Important Context:

Fast 3D is an AI 3D model generation service that:

  • Creates 3D models from text prompts or uploaded images using AI
  • Stores generated 3D models in registered users' accounts so they can download and manage them
  • Does not operate a public marketplace or gallery of user-generated content
  • Cannot fully control what users prompt the AI to generate

Because generated 3D models are tied to user accounts, we are typically able to identify and remove specific infringing models when provided with sufficient information. However, models that have already been downloaded by users may circulate outside our control.

4. How to Submit Your Notice

Please send your complete copyright infringement notice to our designated Copyright Agent:

Please include "DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice" in the subject line.

5. Required Information

To be effective, your DMCA notice must include the following information:

  • Signature: Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
  • Identification: Description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., the original sculpture, character, product design, or artwork)
  • Location: Sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material — such as a URL on fast3d.org, a user profile link, or the prompt and reference image used to generate the model
  • Contact Information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
  • Perjury Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

6. What Happens Next

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice:

  • We will review the notice for completeness and compliance
  • We will investigate the claim and identify the allegedly infringing 3D model
  • We will remove or disable access to the infringing material
  • We will respond to the complainant with our findings
  • We may, in our discretion, notify the user who generated the content and provide them an opportunity to submit a counter-notification

7. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you generated was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located

8. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Fast 3D maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the Service and remove content in response to any single clear infringement.
